That Word template is in the exercise files, and if I switch over to that, you can see that it's got the text well formatted with styles that are named the same as the ones that I have in InDesign. And I also created a Word writing template for folks to write into. Here's my InDesign file, and it's set up with all the text styles that I need. So let's take a look at the options for placing content from a Word document. Text makes up most of the content in any long document, and most of the text content that people place into InDesign comes from Microsoft Word. ![]()
